Terms and conditions of email forwarding service for TreeMail.it
Invalid email addresses
Subscribers are required to use the facility provided for keeping their forwarding address up-to-date. If a subscriber’s external email address becomes invalid so that forwarded messages are bounced back to our mail servers, TreeMail reserves the right to suspend the forwarding and reject messages. Messages will be sent periodically to those subscribing to the forwarding service asking them to confirm the continued validity of the forwarding address held by TreeMail . If no response is received within the time limit specified in the message forwarding to that address will be suspended.
Spam
TreeMail will not forward messages that have been identified as spam; these messages will be discarded, and there will be a small possibility of losing genuine messages in this way.
TreeMail does not guarantee to identify every spam message, and subscribers should therefore expect to receive some unwanted messages from this source.
Disclosure
TreeMail agencies, including affiliates, partners and publishers will be aware of subscribers’ email addresses and will use them from time to time to contact you. TreeMail will not pass addresses on to any third party.
Discontinuation or withdrawal of the service
TreeMail reserves the right to withdraw the forwarding service if future developments (technical, legal, financial or of any other nature) make it expedient to do so. At the time of inaugurating the service no such developments are foreseen. Reasonable warning of any general cessation will be given.
TreeMail reserves the right to withdraw the service from individual subscribers with or without warning if
• A subscriber’s forwarding address becomes invalid.
• A subscriber’s address attracts an unreasonably large volume of email such as would pose a major threat to TreeMail’s email service.
• A subscriber makes use of the TreeMail address for purposes likely to bring TreeMail into disrepute or involve it in legal proceedings.
• For any other reason TreeMail considers it expedient to suspend or withdraw a subscriber’s forwarding arrangement
Limitation of responsibility
TreeMail’s responsibility for subscribers’ email ends as soon as it has been transmitted to the specified forwarding address. TreeMail does not undertake to investigate cases of non-delivery at the specified forwarding address.
TreeMail is not responsible for the content, size or fequency of the messages that it forwards to a subscriber’s external mailbox nor for any damage, inconvenience or distress caused by forwarded messages.
Anyone registering themselves for the email forwarding service shall be deemed to have consented to these terms, which may be varied from time to time.
